Sheila Smith BA Hons - Artist's Statement My inspiration comes from many
things. I enjoy painting a variety of subjects and approach each
one in the way it appeals to me. This is reflected in the style
of my paintings which range from realistic studies to abstracted
images. One thing is for sure, my paintings are always bright
and cheerful, carefully balancing form and colour to achieve the
desired effect.

My work has been
exhibited and sold in a number of leading galleries in the North
East of England including The Artworks, The Biscuit Factory and
Art Evolution. I have also sold work in exhibitions as far
afield as France and Italy. I am also currently exhibiting at
'Number Eight' Manvers Street in Bath, so, if you're in the
vicinity go and have a nice meal and view some art.
