Newcastle/Gateshead

I find the area around the quayside particularly stimulating. There is so much going on there. The Baltic Art Centre, The Sage Music Centre and the Millenium Bridge sit very well alongside the famous old bridges creating wonderful shapes which cry out to be painted. This is an area I like to paint both realistically and in abstracted form. There is so much life there, that I want to capture the vibrancy in as many ways as possible.
